Rolls-Royce debuted their new Phantom Metropolitan Collection at the Paris Auto Show on October 2nd. These new cars will be so intricately designed that there are only 20 of them available to commission. Customers will be able to choose from a full range of 44,000 exterior colors for their commissioned Rolls-Royce. If one of those 44,000 colors doesn’t seem just right, the craftsmen at Bespoke will match a color to any object you want. One of the most amazing parts of the Phantom Metropolitan Collection will be in the details. Specifically, there will be 500 small pieces of wood veneer that will form decorative motifs inlayed in the car. They will be cut, colored and shaped to give drivers an elevated view of the city when the picnic table is open, and a different view of the city when the picnic table is closed. Another way that Rolls-Royce will portray their cityscape theme is through the leather that is in the car. The leather was created to mimic the palette of a modern city. The central rear seat will feature 6,800 two-tone stitches that will give it an abstract look of a skyscraper.
